The Canadian edition of Bankless Times has compiled a rating of the most “fond” models that emit the most radiation.
RF exposure limits are strictly defined: 1.6 W/kg in the US and 2.0 W/kg in Europe. All new devices are subject to SAR certification by regulatory authorities. However, journalists still found violations.
The brightest device was the Motorola Edge with 1.79 W/kg, which is above the norm in the US, a key market. The anti-rating leader is followed by ZTE Axon 11 5G (1.59 W/kg) and OnePlus 6T (1.55 W/kg), Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, Pixel 3, 3 XL and 4a.
The least dangerous model was ZTE Blade V10 (0.13 W/kg), while the top five also included ZTE Axon Elite (0.17), Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G (0.19) and Note 10 (0.21), as well as the Galaxy A80 (0.22). The Galaxy A50, A72 and S20 FE were also classified as the safest models.
